Jörn Hurtienne 

 
 

I am a researcher in the broad areas of psychological ergonomics and user experience design.

  1. I am full professor for psychological ergonomics at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. My research interests are Design for Intuitive Use, image-schematic metaphors, Inclusive Design, and the Psychology of Knowledge Work.

  2. I previously was Research Associate at the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Berlin, EU Marie-Curie Fellow at the University of Cambridge Engineering Design Centre, a Research Fellow at the Chair of Human-Machine Systems TU Berlin (Germany), a PhD student in the research training group prometei and a usability consultant at the bao - Büro für Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie GmbH.

  3. I studied psychology at Humboldt University Berlin (Germany) and life sciences at Sussex University (UK).
